Women with injuries resulting from complications during labour healed through surgery

In north-western Bangladesh, obstetric fistula operations are being performed by our partner organisation, the LAMB Hospital. Some 80 women a year currently receive operations carried out by male and female specialists in fistula surgery who visit the LAMB Hospital at regular intervals. whi's financing of 75% of the costs of these surgeries has meant that more and more surgeries can be performed.
